  • Our final interior design project of 2018 was designing custom furniture for a penthouse apartment in Hale, Cheshire. We designed and produced various pieces for this scheme including a large U-shaped bespoke sofa, a completely custom-made dining table made in Olive Ash, bespoke dining chairs with shaped back, a writing desk made in a funky, eco-friendly veneer and a bespoke home bar.
  • We completed these rooms and pieces for a private client as part of an on going project. The Master Bedroom
The first room we completed was the master bedroom. We designed and produced a ceiling high bespoke media unit, with a mix of polished walnut doors and black tops with one of the doors with a crushed velvet panel, so the client can still change the channel on their sky box with out having to see it. The floor to ceiling TV mount is made in walnut and faux leather panels with spot lights. We also produced a floor to ceiling walnut headboard to match with two upholstered panels in crushed velvet, spot lights and two alike bedside cabinets with storage. Living Space For the living room we created two bespoke statement pieces including modern, classy shelving and a two-part interlocking matching coffee table. The bespoke shelving unit is made with real walnut veneer, black glass, clear glass shelving, mohair side decoration panels and LED lighting. The coffee table was also bespoke produced with the same materials. Our client wanted something to fill the wall space, but they was stuck for ideas. With this we was given free reign to come up with a unique design which the client loved. We created a a great statement piece but still utilised the space. Child’s Bedroom Happy with our previous work the customer asked us to design and produce the furniture for the child’s bedroom. We designed & made a bespoke curved sofa, upholstered in crushed velvet and with horizontal flutes. The sofa was designed to fit the curvature of the room perfectly and to fit closely under the window. We also produced a modern, bespoke floor to ceiling high dressing table, with drawers, an upholstered mid-section TV mount and two shelving columns with LED lighting and clear glass shelves.
  • On this scheme, we bespoke produced numerous upholstered pieces including a bedroom seat & dressing table chair for the master bedroom, a bedroom seat for the Child's bedroom, armchairs and sofas for the living room and a stunning statement chair for the hall. With help from Elizabeth at House of Taupe Interiors, picking beautiful fabrics, the client was delighted with her new furniture, so much she gifted us a bottle of bubbly!
  • At Jacob Furniture, we truly believe creating a friendly yet professional relationship with all of our clients is vital, especially when we are designing pieces of furniture for someone's home. We have worked closely with this particular client over several years, designing and creating unique custom made furniture for most rooms of the house.
We designed each piece to the customers style preferences and to suit each individual room, baring in mind colour, style and other pieces of furniture. We designed & produced a bespoke console table with matching mirrors for the entrance of the house, a large curved orangery sofa with swirly walnut coffee table, hand made high back dining chairs, recess and curved storage cabinets with walnut paneled doors, custom made curved swivel chairs with a sloping back rest, a swivel home office chair, a large living room coffee table and a deep buttoned bed with matching sofa for the master bedroom.
  • We produced this seating for one of our regular commercial interior designer clients. As our client usually has very unique designs and is always looking to create something different, he uses us as a supplier as he knows we have the experience to produce his funky designs to the highest quality.
For this bar and restaurant we produced this curved quilted seating called ‘Wavelight’ seating. Our excellent team of upholsters’ hand quilted each individual seat and back. We also produced matching cylinder stools. Produced by Jacob Furniture, Designed by Steve Howie.
  • The Daniel Adamson Preservation Society is the volunteer led group of enthusiasts behind the £5 million restoration project that has returned the ‘Danny’ an old steamboat built in 1903, to the rivers and canals of the North West. Jacob Furniture were approached by the Daniel Adamson Preservation Society, (along with two other furniture makers) with a view to us re-producing occasional tables and upholstered armchairs, exact copies of the originals, the detail of which was only available from photographs taken during the boats’ hay days during the Art Deco period. We were successful in our bid for the contract and work began in August 2015. Due to the experience, knowledge of furniture history, skills and facilities at our disposal, we produced exact copies of the original tables and chairs which now grace the saloon bar of the Daniel Adamson.
  • Bespoke, shaped fixed seating with hand quilted back rests, covered in brown and blue, two-toned faux suede with matching cylinder stools and bespoke cylinder drinks tables with LED lighting in the middle. We completed this project for Zues Nightclub in Basingstoke. Produced by Jacob Furniture, Designed by Steve Howie.
